5 Daily Blessings of God

The past year has been a lot for the world to take as we went through an unknown pandemic. The unexpected always has a way of putting us back on our feet. As a believer the pandemic brought me back to a place where I was asking God to increase my faith. I was not only asking this for myself but on the behalf of others who were suffering during this time. In asking that, I just knew that God would do the unexpected. God placed the idea of having a community fast for The Diary of a Resilient Queen community. And, let me tell you God showed up and showed up in my life and the lives of the ladies who participated in the fast.

One thing God placed in my spirit many times during the fast was to go back in my journal and look over prayers that I had been asking for back in 2018 and 2019. What I discovered is that God had really answered most of my prayers and it was beyond anything that I could imagine. I literally was blown away from how God showed up for me. He really was working in my life and I did not notice it. I also noticed how my entries shifted from being a sad place to gaining strength in my prayers and believing in God more for these prayers to come true. It really made me think about how when we are going through life we forget that God is always there blessing us. A part of my prayer each day, I added during my fast was, “Thank you God for the blessings- seen and unseen”. I just noticed that it is a blessing to be with God each day and we are blessed beyond what we count.

5 Daily Blessings of God

God protects us.

God protects us each day as we travel to work. As we even enter our cars and make it back home it is a blessing. As we wake up with health, with the ability to walk, with air in our lungs we are blessed.

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

God provides for us.

God is a way maker. God is a miracle worker. God is the one who says go when we thought the answer would be no. Imagine how we go through life and there is food on our table and bills are still getting paid. Imagine making it through the year 2020. God provided for us in ways beyond expectation. Imagine what could have happened and what you may have seen happening in the world and think about how God provided for you to be safe and protected at this time.

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

God gives us strength.

God is always making us stronger even when He is revealing some things that do not align with the purpose He has for us. We may see these times as painful and hurtful but God is ultimately working to make us stronger. When we are praying to God and asking for God to help us in an area God is answering our prayer but He also will prepare you for the blessing and that is through strength and love. God is always making us better for the amazing will and plan He has for our lives. In those places and times we just can not be strong or a weakness presents itself, God is there to be our strength.

1 Chronicles 16:11

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!

God cares for us.

The small and intricate parts of our lives we tend to sometimes forget about but God does not ever forget. We then look back and are reminded of how much God cares for us that He would pay attention to the details while we are so focused on the big and the future. God cares for us daily- the small, the big and all that between He cares for and will continue to cover you with care and love. We can go to God with anything and we will take care of the WHOLE prayer. He will go beyond our expectations and imagination and blow our minds because He is an all knowing God and cares for you so much that He covers every detail to bless His children.

1 Peter 5:7

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

God’s provision in our life.

God wants us to have a good life and live it abundantly. But somewhere along the way we lose our way and think we need the worldly things to live the life God wants us to live. Ultimately, God’s provision in our life gets revealed to us as we build a relationship with Him and follow the will and way God has for our life. God wants so much for us beyond what we could think up. It is important that in our hearts we know who God is and who He is to us because what we see and playing the comparison game will stray us from the thought of God’s provision in our life. We need to be thankful for this each day.

John 10:10

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

God is always blessing us!

Peace & Blessings
