Declaring Out of a Hard Place

We sometimes come to a place where we do not know what to do. We simply do not have an answer for the season we are in. We come to a place of confusion. We may even experience some sadness. We feel alone. We begin to feel like there is no way we could get out of the situation. We all go through it.

I have been there and I know that it is not easy to go through it. It is like a never ending cycle of the same things. I am reminded of this today as I experienced being discouraged. God suddenly began to fill my apartment as I was reminded through praise and worship songs that He has done so much for me in my life and this time was no different. Sometimes when we are waiting on God it can get discouraging. I want to encourage you to stay the course.

Tips to staying the course:

-Keep your focus on God.

-Consume only things that align with God

-Be careful not to focus on worldly things (they are temporary!)

-Learn to be content with where God has you.

-Surround yourself with a community of people who can be there for you and encourage you.

-Stay in a positive mood; do what brings you joy.

-Speak life into yourself! (affirmations and bible verses that speak to you will do the trick!)

Stay in His Word

You may be in a hard place but where God is taking you is better. Just know that the season you are in does not define you. God still sees you as worthy. God still sees you as special. God still sees you as His own. You have to stay encouraged and lean HARD on the promises God gave you already in His Word. Try to come up with a daily routine where you go and meet God. It can be simply anywhere, anyplace and anytime. You just need to make the commitment to meet God in His Word. Invite Him into your current situation.

That if you TRUST Him with all your heart, He will LEAD your paths straight. - Proverbs 3:5-6

That all things WORK for the good for you if you keep your love in God. -Romans 8:28

That the Lord goes before you, He will not forsake you. -Deuteronomy 31:8

That we do not FEAR because He is with the US. Isaiah 41:10

Declaring out a hard place

Listen, on this faith journey it does not get easy. We are on a journey to do kingdom work. We are on a journey to glorify God and yes every little thing will be sent our way to lead us off our path. But the distractions are only that, a distraction. They do not hold value or worth over your name. Over God’s creation- YOU. You have a special design. You have a special calling. You are worthy in God’s eyes. When He created you, He created the great things within you that are specifically for you. You have been destined for greatness just because you are God’s. You have to remind yourself that with God you are safe, loved and cared for. It will always work out. It will always be good. Why? Because God has a master plan and an individual special calling for your life. It may look hard right now. It may look like nothing is working out for you. It may be that you have tried your last option. You may feel that there is nothing else to do.

BUT GOD

Is still in the miracle making business

Is still blessing people

Is still shifting atmospheres

Is still ALIVE

Is still REAL

Is still in the HERE and NOW!

Is still in the HEALING business

You have to begin to declare out of where you are that the Lord is still out here working miracles, victories and blessings in the atmosphere. God loves His children.

You know what tells me why---------THE WORD. So, in a HARD PLACE. GO TO HIS WORD, PICK UP THE BIBLE!!!

Psalm 23:

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

He refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths

for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

forever.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, your ways are higher. Your promises are greater. Your will be done. FatherGod, thank you for your presence in my life. Thank you for watching over me each and every day in my life. There is so much that I do not understand each and every day. Sometimes I get caught up in what my physical eyes see sometimes and I can not make sense of it. But, you are all knowing. You love me Lord. You have a plan and a purpose for me. I pray to rest in you. I pray to have peace in you, knowing that you will make a way out of no way. God, I pray to be healed from the things that I still hold dear in my heart that I have not gotten over yet. Your Word says to cast my burden unto you. Heal my heart to let go of the hurt and put my trust in you with all of my heart that you are working things together for my good. God, I leave it all in your hands. Less of me and more of you in my life. For the times I do not know, I will put my faith in you and focus on you. My yes is to the Lord who has saved me. Thank you Father for loving me, your daughter! In the name of your son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen!
