When you have been transformed, the old you will be called out. You will be on your way having a change of heart and speaking life into situations. You will be so content in being given a second chance that you will be hurt when others do not see that.
That was the difficult part about me being in a new life and given a second chance. The hardest part about giving your life to God, is the attacks of who you are will come. Just because you have changed does not mean that others will understand the change in your life. There will be temptations that will come for you. And, if you are not grounded in the Word and who God is you will be hurt.
An attack of my character was the first thing I had to deal with. It still has a soft place in my heart. People still had an idea of me that I had let go and had died when God transformed me. In 2013, God gave me a chance to come into an abundant life as he tugged on my hurt and painful heart and promised me a life where more was to come if I walk in my call and purpose. That is where my love came so deeply for God. He saw me. He knew my heart through a cold stone wall I put up to protect it. He saw something in me no one else did. He loved me in my deepest darkest and weakest places. God took me as I was and loved me in that place and grew me into the woman of God I am today.
To be given another chance at life, is something that can not be topped. When God sees your heart and loves you right where you are, it reigns as your number one love in your life. God meets us exactly where we are. It was when my heart changed into loving people for who they truly are when God changed who I was. I no longer saw people as bad. I now see broken people hurting other broken people. Healing and redemption was the true gift God has given me. They are both a process but I no longer want to get revenge or blame others for my mistakes. I take ownership in being who I am and know that my Father sees me as His daughter. I have been saved and delivered from who I used to be. The only pleasing and well done I need is from my Father!
Sometimes you have to love those who can not accept that you have changed from a distance. You have to allow them to process the change. If they never do that is okay. Take the time to build up your strength and courage to face times like these in the process. Know that God has you sis and there is someone who needs you to change. Walk in your journey true to who you are and who God says you are Queen and you will be fine! God is with you every step of the way!
Some scriptures to encourage you, Queen:
Matthew 5:14-16
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Psalm 46:10
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
